 About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager. In this role, you will: Play a crucial part in the development stages of multiple complex projects where you will be supporting the Territory Directors and Project Managers in the coordination of design deliverables in partnership with the Design Studio. As the project shifts into construction, you will support the Senior Project Manager to ensure the design intent is met and the end product is of the highest quality. For lower complex projects you will be responsible to oversee and execute the project from concept to completion including design deliverables, budget, quality and schedule management.
 

  • Collaborative Project Coordination: Act as a liaison between Territory Directors, Project Managers, and the Design Studio to facilitate the coordination of design deliverables throughout the development stages of multiple projects. 

  • Design Oversight: Ensure that design intent is maintained and translated effectively into construction plans, leading the coordination of external consultants (Architect of Record (AOR) and Engineer of Record (EOR)) to produce comprehensive and coordinated construction document sets which adhere to local building codes, ADA, zoning, and any other applicable jurisdictional requirements.

  • Project Management:: Take ownership of low complexity projects from conception to completion, overseeing all aspects including design deliverables, budget management, and scheduling. Lead internal and external team meetings as needed, providing clear, concise and actionable agendas and communication.

  • Substantial involvement of Budget and Schedule Management: Maintain a meticulous approach to budgetary control and scheduling, ensuring that projects remain on track and within defined financial parameters ensuring spend remains within budget and collections are billed for in a timely manner.

  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and proactively address potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Foster open communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular timely updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or queries promptly and professionally.

  • Quality Assurance: Uphold rigorous quality standards across all project deliverables, conducting regular reviews and inspections to ensure compliance with organizational objectives and industry best practices. Ensure all design scope and deliverables comply with design standards, and that scope aligns with project budget.

  • Presales Support: Project Management Support including production / oversight of Design Deliverables for Configured Member Projects throughout the pre-sales process.

  • FF&E Management: Lead  the FF&E procurement and staging phases of the project including Requisition and Purchase Order Management.

  • Support Project Managers with Day to Day administrative tasks

  • Support Cost Estimating with appropriate design documentation during the pre-construction and bidding process

  • Onboarding and Training of external partners 

About You

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design from an Accredited University

  • 4-6+ years relevant experience in project management, design, construction, or operation in high quality commercial or hospitality projects. Mixed-use residential, cultural, and institutional experience also will be considered

  • In depth knowledge of Construction industry best practices, building & accessibility Codes. Thorough knowledge of building materials and construction details

  • Proficient in the following programs:, All things Google, Bluebeam Revu, Smartsheets (Or similar programming tools) 

  • (Preferred) Proficient in the following programs: MS Office
